News from the Audi motorsport and customer sport program

Nine top-ten finishes for the R8 LMS
ADAC GT Masters: Audi teams scored no less than nine top-ten finishes in the two ADAC GT Masters races at the EuroSpeedway. Team ABT Sportsline recorded the best result by claiming podium positions with both Audi R8 LMS in the first race: Luca Ludwig and Christopher Mies took second place, Kuba Giermaziak and Jens Klingmann third. Three more R8 LMS teams finished between fourth and sixth place. In the second race Bernd Herndlhofer and Christopher Haase finished fourth and, in doing so, helped Team Rosberg record its best result in the current GT Masters season with a total of twelve championship points. The two ABT pairings also collected points in seventh and eighth positions.

Ekström junior defends second place
JTCC: Kevin Engman defended second position overall in the championship standings on the fourth Swedish Junior Touring Car Championship (JTCC) race weekend held at Karlskoga. The 20-year old Ekström Junior Team driver celebrated his sixth podium position in eight races after taking second place in race two. In the first race Engman retired his Audi A3 after six laps.
